Thailand- Chiang Mai Part 1

Thousand apologies to my fans who have been waiting for ages for a post on this official Ramesh fan club blog. :) Guess wht? I went to Chiang Mai and Bangkok for 6 days. Part 1 of Chiang Mai trip. Let the pictures tell the story. Drum roll........

Ice cream man, "Rudy" the tut-tut driver and my cousin enjoying a delicious cocunut ice cream topped with atap chee(palm fruit) and chopped ground nuts. Heaven! I named the tut-tut driver Rudy cause he looks like a Malaysian DJ by the name of Rudy. hehehe









At a silk factory. They had a life showcase of silk owrms turning into cocoons and stuff. In this picture, the lady is boiling the cocoons and making them into silk thread before it is soaked, washed and dyed.










Fried insects....
Sago worms,cockroach,crickets,frogs,some insect I have never seen in my life.











A cricket in my mouth.. Some were cruchy some were soft. It is not succulent.












I am top of the world!
